Block/ Sample4 (gemaakt in 2017) in restaurant ‘De stijl’ van het Dutch Design Hotel Artemis, Amsterdam. Geschilderde lamellen van transparante kunstzijde maken samen een architectonische compositie in de Stijl-kleuren. Hotelgasten kunnen d.m.v. twee handvaten aan de linkerzijde zelf de lamellen kantelen. Het kunstwerk vanaf buiten fotograferen is helaas niet mogelijk, aangezien er spiegelfolie op de ramen zit. Wel kunt u in de slider hieronder vroegere opnames van het werk zien, waarin de achterkant ook zichtbaar is. Materiaal: kunstzijde (polyester), acrylics van het merk Golden (verf/ medium/ vernis), UV resistent. Maat: w240 x h155 x d33 cm.

Two handles are hanging on the left side of the artwork, this ables the guests to flip the slats themselves. Photographing the backside from the outside is unfortunately not possible, due to reflecting plastic foil attached to the glass. In the slider below the other side is visible. Material: artificial silk, acrylics exclusively of the brand Golden (fluids, medium, additive, varnish), UV-resistent. Size: w240 x h155 x d33 cm.

Acht gezichten — Sample4 in atelier en galerie ‘Kunstliefde’, Utrecht 2018. Sample4 is een driedimensionaal schilderij die twee kanten heeft, een voor- en achterkant. Elke kant kun je van links of van rechts zien, door de lamellen te kantelen. En elk van deze vier opties kun je zowel met erop vallend licht als met tegenlicht zien.

Sample4 has two sides (the front and the backside), each side you can see from a right-angle and left-angle, by turning the slats. That makes four options. Each option you can see with backlight as well as normal light.
